The president of Leeds Law Society, David Barraclough, and Leeds City councillor, Alison Lowe, were on hand to help Gartons Solicitors celebrate their move to new premises on Town Street, Armley, Leeds.
David, a partner at Shulmans solicitors in Leeds, and Armley Ward Councillor Alison Lowe lent their support to Gartons' principal partner, Mike Massen, and his staff at a special art-themed launch party.
Organised in association with ourselves and Leeds-based enterprising organisation artsmix, the event featured an exhibition of work by local artists.
Live music was provided by Kenny Jenkins, lecturer of music technology at Leeds Metropolitan University.
Speaking of the opening, Mike said the link with Leeds Ahead and artsmix mirrored Gartons' plans and vision for the future to support the regeneration of our disadvantaged communities.
"By moving to a more prominent spot in Armley we see ourselves becoming an important part of the community... and by working with our trusted partners we are now able to offer across-the-board, quality legal services to the people of West Leeds and beyond," he added.
