URGENT FOOD APPEAL - PAFRAS - June 2008 onwards
Positive Action for Refugees and Asylum Seekers (PAFRAS) works mainly with destitute asylum seekers in Leeds and surrounding areas who are homeless, without food or money and prevented from improving their situation. PAFRAS currently receives over 400 visits a month to its drop-in service which provides food parcels and hot meals to those most in need. Numbers using the drop in service are rising dramatically each month and demand is beginning to overtake the supplies of food currently available. Therefore PAFRAS urgently needs donations of food for those most in need. For many this is the only sustenance that they receive.
If your organisation can help, please contact Christine Majid at PAFRAS on 0113 248 4147, or email pafrasemail@yahoo.co.uk.
